You have 1- 3 years of Leadership experience (preferable)

You understand risk assessment and Management Process

Your responsibilities
Promote risk management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise in order to develop risk-aware decision taking in relation to unit goals and unit business plan
Secure the implementation and follow through of Ingka Rules and Local (country and regional)
legislation, guiding local stakeholders, to ensure compliance and a healthy, safe and secure environment for customers visitors, co-workers and external partners, also operating risk and compliance verifications within the matrix framework
Conduct internal investigations, analysing unit processes and data in collaboration with local and
country stakeholders, following Ingka group rules and standards to ensure compliance
Identify and plan for the proper trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers, and external
partners to meet IKEAs/Ingka’s risk appetite
Create a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying
and implementing systems to detect, analyse and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents
Be the single point of contact for all the matters connected to Risk & Compliance when it comes
from Authorities (when applicable)
Coordinate the Unit Crisis Management Team for the handling of any emergency cases and
perform appropriate actions according to the “Ingka Emergency Response rules” to ensure process is followed and all key stakeholders are involved
Plan for and ensure that Crisis Management trainings and ways of working are in place in
accordance with the CMT working method and Country and Local CMT plans and protocols to ensure all involved know their responsibilities
Lead, manage and coach co-workers in your team to encourage development, support succession
and secure a high performing team
Reduce of preventable incidents
Implement mitigation plan for health, safety and security risks
Relevant health, safety and security documentation
Ensuring Crisis Management charter is in place for unit
Implementation of the country the BR&C strategy
Achieving the annual compliance plan for the unit

Temporary: (1 Year) Contract until July 2026 Please note: This position requires the submission of a satisfactory criminal record check. A record under the Criminal Code and/or other federal offence record(s) does not automatically mean you will be ineligible for the position. The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 70,800 CAD to +7,350 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
