Partner with the best As the Procurement Manager, you are responsible for interfacing with suppliers and related entities, applying sourcing policy and developing operational plans. In this role, you will be responsible for: Owning Service Delivery for various global procurement metrics within GBS across all functions assigned Leading and maintaining the development of global procurement policies, procedures and reporting as a central point of governance to maintain standards and consistency Communicating and reinforcing values, policies and procedures while managing, training, coaching, counseling and reviewing job contributions of centralized procurement teams Managing procurement and change initiatives through the project life cycle, ensuring delivery to global BH Stakeholders Providing status updates and communicating relevant Procurement information to BH global stakeholders Ensuring audit compliance and adherence to third party procurement/sourcing controls as defined by Baker Hughes management and compliance team Managing global procure-to-pay system, compiling design requirements from multiple internal departments Leading several highly visible project which require project oversight, budget management and ongoing communication Creating/Approving purchase orders as required Liaise as the global procurement leader on functional and cross functional projects that involve more than one region and/or have an opportunity to scale beyond one region as a global procurement best practice Performing third party due diligence activities on third party suppliers, partners and others as needed Collaborating with third party providers to define training requirements, objectives, curriculum and delivery globally Leading global initiatives as directed by the HQ pertaining to sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives, global procurement operations, global sourcing and other projects as necessary. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have bachelor's with 5-8 years of experience in buying / procurement. Have experience in successfully leading and delivering procurement/ sourcing team Have Functional knowledge of various ERP solutions – (like SAP, Ariba) and experience of Accounts Payable is a must. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences Have the ability to analyze data and identify trends to make informed procurement decisions Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
