Cafe - Service Team Member

About the Role

We are seeking expressions of interest for a Café Team Member for our recently refurbished cafe which have a long-term loyal customer base. Working Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1530 (5 days a week), giving you the right family and work balance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily café service including opening, closing and customer transactions through point of sale.
Provide consistently friendly, attentive, and compassionate customer service to all customers.
Ensure safe work practices are carried out within the food safety, health, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
Participate in a culture of collaboration and respect between co-workers.
Maintain a front of house presence and engagement with customers.
Model high standards of performance and behaviour.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

Experience in a café/ restaurant
Barista experience (or willingness to be trained)
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Passion and commitment to delivering high quality service
Versatile and personable professional willing to engage with colleagues and customers.
Motivated to bring joy to your customers and driven to always improve
Must have a visa with full Australian working rights for 38 hours per week
Must have a Police check or willing to obtain
Availability 5 days a week, Monday - Friday
