Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

If so, we could have the ideal role for you as part of our friendly and dynamic Cardiac Cath Labs. We have 2 labs and a recovery area. We offer a variety of interventional PCI , non-interventional procedure DC cardioversion TOE reveal implant and explant, pacing and EP procedures. We also offer a 24/7 PPCI service, and work closely with the Coronary care Unit and the Cardiology ward.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for promoting a high standard of nursing care and multi-disciplinary working and will be expected to adopt a team approach to problem-solving, therefore good communication, organisational and leadership skills are essential. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and proactive qualified nurse with good interpersonal skills.

• * IV trained
• * Venepuncture
• * Cannulation
• * Computer literate

Special Requirements

• To work in other areas of the department when required
• Able to work flexible shifts, weekends and bank holidays as required
• To be able to work on call after appropriate training
• To be available to cover on calls or be prepared to stay on site for weekend and weekday on calls

Qualifications

Essential criteria
• Current NMC registration
• Post Registration cardiac module
