What is required from you?
• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• You must have a full UK driving license and your own vehicle
• Availability to work shifts between 7am and 10pm with alternate weekends
• A positive and caring attitude with the passion to help others
A day in the life of a home care assistant:
• Health and Wellbeing-Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care -supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks -light cleaning tasks
• Mobility -Supporting the client to live as independently as possible.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
