Full and Part time Care assistants required to join our Belfast Community team.

As a care assistant you can expect:

• Competitive hourly wage (£12.00 Monday - Friday, £12.00 -Saturday am, lunch and tea and £14.00 Saturday BTB and Sunday and £11.50 for sitting services. up to £14.50 for emergency over and bank holidays.)
• Higher rate of pay for Easter Monday and 12th July
• Paid mileage – increased to 35p per mile

Key Requirements
• Have 2 suitable references
• Be caring and friendly
• Have a valid driving licence and vehicle
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Have a good standard of verbal and written English (or be prepared to further their English skills)

Key Responsibilities as a Care Assistant
• Assisting and enabling
• Washing and dressing
• Taking food and refreshment
• Mobility
• Bed making
• Providing interest and activities to stimulate and engage the client
• Companionship and care
• Administering medication
• Contributing to record keeping
