Full job description
UK Care Team provide homecare to individuals in and around Leicester and Leicestershire.
We have a large team of home carers who are supported to provide excellent person centred care by our Carer Experience Officers.
The Carer Experience Officer should have some experience in Recruitment, Carer recruitment compliance, mentoring/training, and carer retention.
The Carer Experience Officer should also have experience in supervising a large team and managing deadlines and compliance expectations in line with our regulator CQC.
ROLE DETAILS:
1. To work as required in a Carer Experience Officer training, supporting and mentoring carers, including shadowing and assessing competencies for new and existing carers including completing spot checks within client’s own homes and reporting to the Head of Care Operations.
2. Responsible in ensuring carers training is up to date, including delivering training, mentoring within the field and e-learning platforms.
3. Responsible in ensuring carers supervisions and appraisals are up to date.
4. Recruitment and retention of all staff.
5. To work in client’s own homes and on occasion at UK Care Teams Head office when required.
6. Liaise with other healthcare professionals as required to ensure holistic and professional relationships are maintained in the best interest of the client.
To provide a Service of Care to clients to when required to enable them to lead as independent a lifestyle as possible. This Care Service will involve a programme of personal care and household management that is personalised for each client in the form of a Care Plan. Care duties will therefore include assisting the client with the following activities and in so doing will always observe and respect the clients’ dignity, privacy and independence as far as practical.

Pay: £26,291.00-£28,000.00 per year
