The Cash Control Clerk role is crucial to offer excellent customer service, emphasizing fast, friendly, precise, and safe services. They work on multiple duties, including processing Checkout and/or Return transactions and managing the Self-Checkout area. They keep themselves updated with the product/project features, identify selling opportunities, and share relevant details with customers. They abide by policies and procedures to reduce company losses. The Cash Control Clerk supports Cashiers by managing price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions, and markdowns to aid registers??operations, such as Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool rental.
Responsibilities of Cash Control Clerk:
• Front End Associates bear the responsibility of addressing initial customer complaints and training other team members, hence proving themselves to be pivotal to the overall success of the department
• Using appropriate resources and techniques in coaching and training new Cash Control Clerk can help them succeed in their role.
