We are seeking bubbly, professional and passionate Casual Senior Restaurant and Bar attendant to join our dynamic team.
You will be responsible to deliver exceptional and memorable service to our guests for building rapport with our members while delivering efficient and friendly customer service across a variety of outlets
During your shift you will ensure that your workplace is clean, tidy, have a great atmosphere, and that all food & beverage products you serve are of the best quality possible.
Your duties will include:
Oversee food and beverage service in restaurants, bars, or banquet halls.
Ensure smooth daily operations, from opening to closing.
Monitor food presentation and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards (complying with health and safety regulations).
Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Obtain knowledge of all menus, and general hotel information.
Handle all guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
Take food orders and enter them into the Point-of-Sale System, receive and process payments correctly.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all stations and stocked up.
Set tables for a variety of meal periods in line with hotel standards and product specifications.
Check equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needed.
Communicate customer feedback to managers
Comply with health and safety regulations.
Answer queries over the phone and in person and take restaurant reservations.
About You
Minimum of 1 year full-time previous experience in a hotel restaurant/al a carte environment
Ability to coach others in job skills
Previous experience working to and exceeding targets
Exceptional bar knowledge and experience
Barista skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Current Victorian RSA Certificate
Working Rights in Australia
Flexibility to work various shifts including days/nights/weekends and holidays
