About Us
Koneko is a mission-driven cat café in NYC working to find forever homes for at-risk rescue cats. Since 2016, we’ve partnered with local rescues to foster 15–20 adoptable cats at a time and have placed hundreds in loving homes.

About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, cat-savvy team member with experience in customer service and the ability to intuitively meet guest needs. We will only consider individuals who have 1+ years working or volunteering in an animal shelter, veterinary clinic, rescue, cattery, pet boarding facility.

Responsibilities

Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming space for both cats and guests.
Monitor cats’ health and wellbeing (feeding, grooming, behavior) and report concerns.
Greet guests warmly, answer questions, and make sure house rules are followed.
Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in animal rescue, shelter work, veterinary care, or a similar environment working with multiple cats in a shared environment.
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, collaborative, and genuinely passionate about cat welfare.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
