What to Expect:
As Category eCommerce Acceleration Manager, you will be developing category-level eCommerce strategy and programs and steering the short- and long-term eCommerce priorities to drive overall eCommerce demand and conversion across customers and emerging eCommerce channels, in collaboration with the sales and brand marketing teams.


A day in the life of a Category eCommerce Acceleration Manager

Collaborate with business category teams to ensure robust eCommerce strategies and plans are embedded in Integrated Commercial Planning, identifying, and recommending eCommerce priorities in context of total OMNI landscape, setting critical KPI’s for success.
Establish critical eCommerce “must wins” across key retailers and eCommerce routes to consumer for an assigned category.
Develop an investment strategy for a category, weighing both financial and strategic objectives to ensure competitiveness and to gain market share across retailer platforms
Work across sales teams (category and customer) to ensure Dynamic Forecast (Revenue and Investments) for online platforms are aligned across customers and tracked in accordance with the Monthly Business Planning process.
Lead eContent and OMNI Promotional Campaign Strategies including:
Build strategy for category on eSearch and Retail Digital Media (In collaboration with marketing and eCommerce experts).
Build Insight-Based Promotional Campaigns and Tool Kits for National & Customer Specific activation.
Champion holistic plans across an entire path to purchase for key brands within the division and activate at priority customers.
Ensure alignment in media planning and purchasing exists (brand and shopper) through clear communication with Brand, Media, and Customer Teams.
Lead Shopper budgeting process and strategy for key Division’s key brands and customers.
Build and execute eCommerce learning and education plans across the customer facing organization.
Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies.

Role Requirements

4+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing, with a focus on leading marketing channels and shopper communication initiatives including digital and media strategies.
Completion of a University Degree in Marketing/Communications or Business Administration, with an emphasis on Digital Marketing and/or eCommerce preferred.
Experience working with Amazon as a customer or marketing platform is an asset
Experience in shopper and consumer insight-driven marketing and promotions, with the ability to develop strategic plans, eCommerce packages, communication campaigns, or commercialization strategies.
Experience in developing merchandising and shopper marketing strategies that align with corporate priorities and brand guidelines, coupled with the ability to leverage data and trends to gain insights into consumer and shopper behavior.
Knowledge of Profitero/Edge by Ascential platforms, customer self-service portals an asset
