Brimbank is continuously growing, with many transformational infrastructure projects about to break ground. A key focus of the coming years will be working with the State and Federal Governments to establish Melbourne Airport Rail; to complete redevelopment of Sunshine and Albion Stations; and the realisation of the Sunshine Precinct Masterplan which will Sunshine transformed into a CBD, vastly increasing local jobs, housing, businesses, services and tourism to provide for the many tens of thousands of people living, working and travelling through the Brimbank.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.


The role

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Project Management Office, we are seeking an Change Management Specialist who can bring their skills and experience to:

Establish a Change Management function, framework and supporting tools
Build organisation capability in change management, integrating with project management and continuous improvement practices.
Developing and implement a Change Capability Uplift program for all staff and leaders
Develop a Community of Practise / Change Champions group to support and sustain a culture of change maturity
Establish Change Impact Analysis and heat mapping data for organisational context.
Rstablish protocols, reporting mechanisms to track and share change data based on project impacts and risk profiles.
Drive and lead organisational change management uplift by providing expert advice, training and coaching to leaders to support successful change implementation.

To be considered you will have:


Ability to work in accordance with our values and behaviours
Extensive change management experience in a complex environment with experience in developing and delivering a Change Management Framework.
Qualifications in Prosci, PCI, Lean Change or similar change management certification.
Tertiary qualifications in Business Improvement / Business Analysis / Service Design or related disciplines are desired. Candidates with less formal qualifications but years of relevant experience will be considered
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders and communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
High-level analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and management skills in order to lead a high performing change management team.
Proven track record managing large, complex change management aspects of projects in Agile, Waterfall and related methods, successfully delivering projects on time.
Experience in local government-related frameworks and solutions is highly desirable.
