Workflow platform is a group capability focusing on ensuring smooth, fit-for-purpose, technology aligned Workflow platforms are available for Business Application delivery. Our value comes from abstracting away the complexity and reducing the cognitive load from our Application Delivery teams so they can better serve our customers.
We are a team of around 1 20 people spilt across Australia and India and we are custodians of multiple self- serviceable platform product components that champion Streamline onboarding, automated operations, change management, code delivery , Agentic AI and end to end Telemetry . Chapter Area Lead is an executive manager level role managing multiple chapters of different engineering job families .
In this role you will:
Lead the Workflow platform community of engineer ing specialists ( ~80-100 FTE)
Evangelise Technology Strategy across the Workflow Crew by championing DevSecOps and leverage AI to create group-wide reusable workflow assets
Contribute to the uplift of the Chapter’s maturity by driving and fostering collaboration across the Chapter s to create a culture of sharing, learning and problem solving.
Influence stakeholders and lead change.
Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.
We’re interested in hearing from people who:
Have experience of managing Engineering Managers / S enior Managers (Chapter Leads)
Have experience with ideally Workflow Platforms such as Appian , Power Apps, Pega (Highest Level Technical Certifications ) , and native code languages such as C#, Java, P ython
Strong exposure to native Cloud elements across AWS and Azure
Have strong people leadership skills to lead, develop and motivate team s to help them grow providing direction and guidance as required
Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Are analytical thinkers, problem solvers and can deliver outcomes manoeuvring through inter-dependencies that are both internal and external
Additional g ood to h ave skills:
Experience in distributed, low latency environments.
Artificial Intelligence: Experience in AI technologies, particularly around tooling enhancements will be valued.
Familiarity in event-driven architectures (Kafka, MQ) and orchestration (Apache Camel, Temporal, Mulesoft )
