Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience to join our in-house finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, basic financial acumen, and the ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit and Assurance:
- Conduct statutory audits, including planning, execution, and reporting in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
- Review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of financial data.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budgetary performance and variance analysis, providing explanations for discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
-Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
5. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial due diligence and risk assessment.
6. Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Develop tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, and other applicable taxes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
7. Cash Flow Management:
- Manage cash flow projections and liquidity needs to support operational requirements.
- Optimize cash management processes to maximize interest income and minimize borrowing costs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized professional accounting body
- 0 to 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- High standards of ethics, confidentiality, and integrity in financial practices
Preferred Qualifications:
• Article-ship experience in a reputed CA firm
• Exposure to GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Basic knowledge of Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or other Accounting/ERP tools
• Familiarity with MIS reporting and financial modeling
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive attitude
