We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join a great team. With amazing city skyline views across Brisbane and a full time prominently Monday to Friday roster (occasional Saturdays will be required for events), this role provides the perfect work life balance!

The Position:

Assist in daily food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure exceptional standards across menus and daily specials.
Support allergy awareness initiatives and adhere to food safety guidelines.
Adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Implement catering controls and minimize wastage.
Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding and supporting junior team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.
The Person:

Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
Strong à la carte background with experience in events and functions.
Knowledge of OH&S compliance and safe work practices.
Ability to contribute to menu development using fresh, local ingredients.
Awareness of allergen and dietary requirements.
Interest in modern cooking techniques and healthy menu options.
Proven leadership abilities, including effective communication, decision-making, and team motivation.
