Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island is a boutique hotel on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, with 15 accommodations and a restaurant that can seat up to 40 guests. The hotel is situated 25 km from Penneshaw, the nearest township, on a 250-acre seafront estate with a secluded beach. Our team receives guests from all over the world.

Job Description
We are seeking two experienced professionals to join our team at Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island. One position is for a qualified cook or chef who has experience working independently in a remote region under the supervision of our General Manager. The other position is for a hospitality worker who will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house and back-of-house services.

Required Skills and Qualifications
For the cook or chef position, we require:
• Qualifications in commercial cookery or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a cook or chef in a remote/semi-remote region
• Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Permanent visa holder or permanent resident
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required

For the hospitality worker position, we require:
• Previous hospitality experience including restaurant experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a remote/semi-remote region
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Permanent visa holder or permanent resident
• Good communication skills
• A team player with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Valid RSA
• Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts as required
