-Provide one-on-one to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
-Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning goals and abilities.
-Teach fundamental chess concepts, including rules, strategies, tactics, openings, middle-game principles, and endgame techniques.
-Analyze games and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding of the game.
-Conduct interactive chess sessions using online platforms or chess software.
Requirements:
-Proficiency in chess, with a strong understanding of chess principles, strategies, and tactics.
-Previous experience teaching or tutoring chess, either online or in-person, is preferred.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and understandably.
-Reliable internet connection and access to online chess platforms or software for conducting lessons.
-Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans to keep students motivated and focused.
-Flexibility in scheduling lessons to accommodate students' availability, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
