About the role

The CIS Logistics Officer will be part of a larger service delivery team applying logistics expertise to ensure an expansive ICT enterprise appropriately supports a broad capability. This is achieved through the professional management of equipment, hardware, software and licensing arrangements while managing a range of both internal and external stakeholders, including commercial providers.

The individual will be expected to exercise independence and initiative as part of a broader effort, bringing a high degree of integrity and diligence while simultaneously exercising creativity and problem-solving skills to identify ways to achieve desired logistics outcomes.

Essential Requirements

The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.

Be an Australian Citizen

Hold a current TSPV Australian Government Security Clearance

Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills


In addition, this role will require:

Fifteen or more years working in a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably with CIS/Communications equipment.

Working in a Defence environment aligned with Defence Logistics manuals and policy.

High proficiency in asset management software and the Microsoft Office suite.

Excellent attention to detail.
