City Health Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Infectious Disease Specialist to join our team in the Bureau of Public Health Clinics. As an Infectious Disease Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert medical care to patients with infectious diseases, while also contributing to the development of policies and programs that promote public health.

Job Summary
The Infectious Disease Specialist will work closely with our clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosing and treating infectious diseases, developing and implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and families about disease prevention and management.

Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat infectious diseases in patients
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with infectious diseases
Educate patients and families about disease prevention and management
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Contribute to the development of policies and programs that promote public health
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York, and either a Board Certification issued by the appropriate American Subspecialty Board or current approved application on file for admission to the certifying examination given by the appropriate American Subspecialty Board. Additionally, you must have at least three years of experience practicing in the specialty area.
