Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team.
This role involves supporting major projects and routine operations, including preparing sketches, charts, tabulation, plans, and designs for civil engineering initiatives.
As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our projects and the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with civil engineers on project planning, execution, and engineering design.
Prepare technical documents such as construction drawings, specifications, and reports.
Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, provide on-site support, and assist with project management.
Inspect building materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with design, specification, safety, and environmental standards.
Perform regular quality inspections, document findings, analyze data and recommend improvements.
Assist in selecting suitable materials for various projects.
Manage development approvals, building permits and related documentation.
Prepare project budgets, control costs, and review changes to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing expert consultation and technical guidance.
Requirements
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role or a certificate/diploma in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Skilled in data collection, site surveys and testing methods.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A strong commitment to teamwork and delivering high-quality outcomes.
PASSION FOR CONTINUOUS LEARNING AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
