Job description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Advisory team at Marsh. This role will be based either in Sydney or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.



Your role is to provide a high level of claims management services to clients and brokers through consulting, advisory, advocacy and negotiation.



We will count on you to:

Claims Technical: Manage basic to moderately complex claims in accordance with company processes and client agreements, while liaising with other specialty areas of the business as needed. Maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, claimants, and external providers.
Claims Administration: Perform data entry of incident reports and process other claims-related information in Clearsight. Prepare and send routine correspondence and documents using company templates.
Claims Advisory: Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of clients. Act as an advocate for clients, formulating commercial and technical responses to insurer denials of liability.
New and Expanded Business: Identify new and expanded business opportunities, referring them to senior colleagues as appropriate. Support new business endeavors by providing claims review data for tenders, renewals, and proposals, and participate in client/prospect meetings as required.


What you need to have:

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ideally, a VCE or equivalent; or a Diploma in Financial Services / Bachelor’s degree.
Completion of company-directed compliance training.
Tier 1 or Associate membership of ANZIIF.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines.
