We are seeking an experienced Senior Claim Specialist to join one of Australia's most trusted and well-known broking agency in Australia. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of property and motor-to-end claims. Based in Sydney CBD, on a permanent full-time basis.
The role
You will manage a property and motor mixed portfolio end to end, tailor strategies to each claim's complexity, manage expectations and communication across all stakeholders.
Investigate the claim to determine its validity, which may include gathering evidence, interviewing involved parties, or collaborating with other professionals and stakeholders.
Negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of customers to secure a fair settlement, involving discussions on the scope of coverage, policy terms, and the amount to be paid.
Work towards a resolution by either facilitating the payment of the claim or assisting the customer if the claim is denied, helping them understand the reasons and potential recourse options.
About you
Competent Property Claims Consultant, confident in taking ownership of your portfolio.
Have excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Be self-driven and supportive to help drive team performance.
Previous experience in mentoring a team preferred but not required.
Growth mindset and accountable for your own learning, taking advantage of learning and development programs.
