Job Description

The Role

The primary responsibility is to deliver high quality claims administration and support to the PLRA NEOS claims team.

The role will be working with the NEOS claims team to provide claims customer service, ad hoc administration, long term claims handling and data support for this small, specialised team.

This role will broadly require the support technician to assist PLRA to build and support a claims proposition for the market that meets both client needs as well as being consistent with PLRA’s strategic focus.

Duties

Administration Of a Variety Of Life Insurance Claims And Across All Products Contained Within Retail Insurance. Delivery Of High-quality Claims Support Service To The NEOS Claims Team Including

Supporting team Service Level Agreements & LICOP obligations
Efficient and accurate processing of claims items and tasks
Proficient writing and verbal communication skills
Building and maintaining effective relationships with NEOS NOL and their customers/advisers and other key stakeholders

Develop a broad life insurance claims knowledge and assist in the development of processes and controls in a highly critical business area Assist the team to achieve company goals as well as individual performance standards and objectives Assist with the development of PLRA’s profile and brand in Australia and internationally.

Qualifications & Experience

Either previous experience in Claims Administration and or Customer Service working for a Life insurer or Superannuation fund for at least 2-5 years
Experience in dealing with a claims department and or claims handling within life insurance
Understand Life cover, TPD, Critical Illness and Income Protection in life insurance offerings and similar & Insurance industry regulations
