1 ‑ Temporary Part Time (.6) ‑ Clerk III
Clinical Laboratories
It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event
you are successful.
Qualifications:
* Training and experience in medical terminology is mandatory
* Experience as related to laboratory services relating to all lab disciplines & pathology examinations, including
familiarity with lab processes, test order protocols, etc. is required
* Experience in billing & collections for laboratory services, including knowledge of the Laboratory Services Schedule
of Benefits (MOHLTC) will be considered an asset
* Must have computer skills including: Meditech, including the Laboratory module, Word/Windows and Excel
* Experience in patient registration using ADM, module, Pathology and Lab modules will be considered an asset
* SNOMED coding and public health lab reporting
* Must have good organizational, communication and telephone skills
* Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision
Salary Range: $26.588 to 27.221
