Veterinary Client Liaison
Department: Neurology Service
Location: Calgary, AB
Calgary Animal Referral and Emergency (C.A.R.E.) Centre is welcoming a full-time Client Service Administrator/Liaison for our Neurology Team. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our medical teams, clients, and their pets.

About the Role

The role of the Client Service Administrator (CSA) is to support our Neurology team with their administrative tasks and strengthen the client, animal, and veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. Your role is vital to the success of our specialty hospital! You are often the first and last point of contact and can leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients. Your responsibility is to enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team, addressing client concerns, and providing a first-class client experience. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets are informed and prepared to have a great experience with our specialty teams.

The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure and customer service focused, ideally you have:

Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties in a veterinary clinic setting

Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and Cornerstone

Exceptional client service skills

Empathetic, nurturing, and positive attitude

Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change, and adaptable

Initiative in carrying out assignments independently

Attention to detail with above-average time management skills

Must be flexible and available to work modified shift work (Monday to Thursday 8 am to 6 pm)

Excellent attendance and punctuality

Strong foundation in MS Office and email, phone and in-person etiquette

Previous veterinary experience or graduate from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred

Patient Restraint may be required
