Degree in nursing (preferred)
Postgraduate studies in courses related to care of older adults (desirable)
Current CPR
Desirable skills – phlebotomy, cannulation for infusions, ear suction, suturing, and liquid nitrogen
Experience with PMS - MyPractice (desirable)
Experience with stakeholder management and communication
Risk management and risk monitoring experience
Strong competency in IT and software packages including office 365 suite
Practice nurse and/or aged residential care experience (desirable)
Demonstrated relationship management skills necessary for working effectively with internal and external stakeholders/clinicians
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter able to identify areas for improvement and proactively work towards solutions
A resilient problem solver keen on implementing solutions
A positive and resilient approach to developing relationships with clinicians
Ability to gather and interpret information necessary for decision making, can make sense of data and explain to others
