About the role
Permanent full time and part time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for women and babies with a variety of conditions and support a safe care environment through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based woman and baby focused care, education, clinical and professional leadership and portfolio management.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Apply advanced clinical midwifery expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of woman and baby centred care.
Provide teaching to both woman and their families to facilitate learning and enable them to move towards independence.
Participate in, and support the performance and development planning of self and others.
Work collaboratively with peers and others to create a positive practice environment that achieve best practice outcomes for women and families.
