Job Description
What U will do
Design and deploy network and security infrastructure
Monitoring the health of the network with a focus on minimising downtime and service optimisation
Manage network and security infrastructure. Perform configuration and administration activities and resolve incidents and services requests
Ensure controls, policies, and procedures are operating effectively
Follow and enforce ITIL aligned incident, request fulfilment, problem and change management process for changes required on customer networks
Build effective working relationships both internally and externally
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively with various teams across the organisation, adapting to changing business requirements
U will be someone with
Proven network experience across cloud and on-premise environments. This will include the design, implementation and support of network infrastructure
Solid cloud network experience working with AWS network services (preferred) and content delivery, security services and Unix/Linux/Windows systems
Proven experience with automation and IaC technologies, such as Python, Terraform and CloudFormation
Strong understanding of network security practices and security controls
Experience implementing and supporting SIEM and SASE solutions (such as but not limited to: CS, Cisco, Palo Alto, Netskope, Zscaler)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to leverage server/network knowledge and broad array of tools to solve problems
Experience implementing, supporting and maintaining Firewalls Active PCNSE certification is desirable
Networking (Routing/Switching/Wireless/SD-WAN) – Experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and/or Aruba
The skills and experience U have include
5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and security
Familiarity with CIS benchmarking, NIST, ISO 27001 and SOC2 compliance
Knowledge of basic cryptography and common network protocols
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience and best practices of AWS Cloud technologies – EC2, EKS, ELK, Cloud Formation, ALB, NLB, ASG, VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Route 53, AWS Firewalls, Control Tower, App Stream, KMS, IaC / configuration management technologies (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
Networking DNS, Transit Gateways, PrivateLink, NAT Configurations, Firewalls, Port Mappings
Cloud Security architectures – Encryption, Authentication/Authorisation (SAML, oAuth, OpenID Connect, WAF, AWS Shield)
Build secure solutions using DevSecOps principles
