Salary: $85,790 to $ $95,413 – ASO5 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 28 July 2026
Overview:

The Coding Manager Pregnancy Outcome Unit (POU) undertakes a range of support activities that contribute to the provision of quality and timely outcomes associated with the Pregnancy Outcome Unit. In particular this includes quality assurance in data ascertainment and data processing, participation in the preparation of technical reports, liaison with officers assisting the Supplementary Birth Record, preparation of regular status reports.
The Coding Manager, POU will be responsible for regular liaison with data suppliers, internal and external customers, identifying useful software upgrades including testing of software and procedural modifications, coordinating with analysts and epidemiologists, participating in the preparation of technical reports and, regular status reports. The Coding Manager, POU coordinates and manages POU staff, participating in recruitment and training of new POU staff.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
