Job Description

You are a skilled team player who collaborates with Client Leads and Subject Matter Experts across the organization to plan, write and publish content for audiences and channels that generate public awareness of MPAC and support strategic and operational goals.

You have:
A university degree or diploma in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in developing, creating and implementing strategic corporate internal communications initiatives
Demonstrated advanced level of skill in writing communications materials with experience in various mediums and styles including, speech writing, employee communication materials, intranet copy, corporate reports, etc
Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products, web content management, software, e-newsletter and survey programs
Excellent editing skills and attention to detail
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple projects and deadlines
What you will do:
Create high-profile, engaging content that expertly tells MPAC stories and explains why our work matters
Provide suggestions for how we can innovate and enhance our dialogue with Ontarians
Create messaging that makes essential connections with MPAC’s various partners and clients, including MPAC employees, corporate reports, web content, presentations, artices, etc
Proactively identify communication channels and initiatives to support corporate business objectives
Analyze current events at the local, provincial, and federal levels and identify possible impacts on the organization and employees
Create copy and edit corporate publications, ensuring the accuracy of the information while managing the approval process
