Key Responsibilities:
• Community Calendar Design and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive community calendar, including planning, organizing, and promoting events that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Process Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with community event processes and procedures, including obtaining necessary permits, adhering to safety regulations, and managing logistics.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, including Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) ratings and planned versus actual event costs, to evaluate the success of community events and identify areas for improvement.
• Team Retention (If Applicable): Implement strategies to promote team engagement, recognition, and professional development opportunities, contributing to improved team retention rates.
• Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to secure necessary goods and services for community events, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Community Event Process Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with community event processes, including permit acquisition, safety protocols, and event execution procedures.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 4 or higher at the event level by delivering high-quality experiences and addressing attendee feedback promptly and effectively.
• Community Event Budget Management: Manage community event budgets effectively, ensuring expenses are kept within budgetary constraints while delivering memorable and impactful events.
• Visibility Post-Event Completion: Ensure visibility and promotion of community events post-completion through social media, newsletters, and other communication channels to maximize community engagement and participation.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
• Previous experience in event planning, community engagement, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Creativity and innovation in event planning and promotion.
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
