Your role as Community Engagement Advisor will have a positive impact in your local community and in turn, the organisation, through aligning activities to the branch business plan and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities.
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you’ll make your mark by:
Co-ordinating and administrate community grants and sponsorship programs (including reporting and evaluation of these programs)
Promoting and communicating the community banking model to grant sponsorship applications for the community
Immersing yourself within the local community. You’ll have a mind for networking and collaborations and will work with the board and branch management team to seek out, nurture and organise community relationships, partnerships and events
Telling our stories. Through various channels, you’ll help spread the word and celebrate the work we do within the community
This is a permanent, part time supporting both the Carrum Downs & Marriott Waters branches, the roster being 18 – 24 hours per week with flexibility on hours/days for the right candidate. The ability to occasionally attend community events outside of normal business hours is also a requirement of the role”.

An understanding and established connection with the local community
Strong customer service and customer experience ethos
Ability to drive and maintain effective working relationships and networks
Effective communication skills to share our Community Bank story
Excellent time management and organisational skills
You will be responsible for creating and posting content and driving engagement through various social media platforms
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Project or event management experience (desirable, but not essential)
Confidence with technology and experience in digital platforms and creative/editing tools
