As a Community Service Liaison with the State Government of Victoria, Australia, you will play a vital role in delivering client-centred services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with tenants to assist and support them in maintaining their tenancies. This includes conducting regular property inspections, completing required property reports, and attending court hearings as necessary.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring that tenancy and property records are kept up to date and meet departmental and regulatory standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Work with tenants to assist and support them in maintaining their tenancies.
Carry out property inspections every 6 months and complete required property reports.
Attend court/tribunal hearings where necessary to represent the interests of the department.
Requirements:

Demonstrated experience working or interacting with vulnerable client groups.
Previous experience in a client-focused role working with the public.
Community service or housing experience, or even property management experience.
