Target Hiring Range $128,000 - $180,000

Responsibilities
The Compliance Attorney coordinates the Firm’s identification of and compliance with various legal, regulatory, and contractual duties
The Compliance Attorney works under minimal supervision and relies on detailed instructions to plan and accomplish goals
Collect, organize, and store Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and engagement terms
Research and provide guidance regarding Market Abuse Regulations
Collaborate with practice areas and firm departments (marketing, IT) to provide specific information requested and adhere compliance feasibility with client's OCGs and engagement terms
Help keep firm attorneys and staff apprised of their specific roles and responsibilities under existing OCGs and engagement terms
Identity new matters involving Personal Health Information (PHI) and verify execution of Business Associate Agreements
Maintain database of OCGs to keep track of and enable internal compliance with various provisions (e.g. AI, Privacy)
Liaise directly with external firm clients in the negotiation of OCGs
Work closely with the Deputy General Counsels
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, talk and hear
Employee must occasionally lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Job Description
