We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced HR Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations and ensure full compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation structures, employee taxation, and regulatory frameworks including TDS, minimum wage laws, and statutory deductions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Finance team to maintain accurate, reconciled payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the employee base.
- Manage statutory compliance, including TDS, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and professional tax.
- Design, update, and maintain employee CTC structures in line with legal and organizational standards.
- Ensure adherence to minimum wage regulations and other labor laws as applicable.
- Reconcile payroll data with the Finance team to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for internal use and statutory audits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee queries.
- Stay informed on changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements, and implement necessary updates to internal payroll processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA in HR/Finance is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, CTC structuring, and Indian labor and tax laws.
- Proficient in payroll software and advanced MS Excel functions.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially Finance.
