• Drafting: Create demand letters, opinion letters, construction demands, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Litigation: Conduct and defend depositions, perform thorough legal research, and represent the firm and our clients in hearings.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with opposing parties, engage in settlement negotiations, and work closely with prospective clients to understand and address their legal needs.
• ** What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: 4-5 years in Construction Law and Civil Litigation. Strong grasp of both state and federal court litigation.
• License: Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and LEDES billing is a plus.
• Commitment: Active participation in weekly meetings and readiness to tackle new challenges.
