This leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join their dynamic team in London. With a focus on collaboration and agility, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled construction law professional to work on a diverse range of projects.
Position Overview
As a Construction Lawyer, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional legal services to the firm's clients across the commercial, residential, and landed estates sectors. Working independently and collaboratively with the firm's highly regarded teams, you will contribute to the success of complex construction projects and drive the growth of the practice.
Responsibilities
• Draft bespoke contracts and amend industry standard forms
• Advise on construction aspects of facility agreements and lease agreements
• Provide guidance on public procurement and tendering procedures
• Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding of the construction industry and procurement trends
Requirements
• 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in construction law
• Excellent academic background
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective team player with the ability to work in a close-knit team
• Enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills
• Willingness to take responsibility and form strong working relationships
• Excellent technical ability and solid drafting skills
• Ability to handle client contact from the outset
• Commercial and pragmatic outlook
• Familiarity with technology
• Keen interest in business development and client relationship management
