Wordly has a unique opportunity for a Content Creator to join its tight-knit, supportive team and play a pivotal role in the agency’s growth.

You’ll be the first full-time hire for Wordly and work hand-in-hand with our Managing Director. As the first employee on the ground, you’ll have the opportunity to carve out a position that suits your needs and make real contributions to the future direction and growth of the business.

Wordsmithing is at the heart of all our projects, with our services encompassing brand and marketing strategy, through to website copywriting, content marketing and editing.

About the Role

As Wordly’s Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for delivering creative, innovative, high quality copywriting, graphic design and client services.

You’ll be hands-on, and will perform tasks like:

Creating and scheduling both written content and graphics for social media
Creating both written content and graphics for EDMs
Creating both written content and graphics for other marketing collateral and communications material, including brochures, flyers, white papers, PowerPoint presentations, technical documents and more.
Drafting written content including blog posts, website content, media releases, editorial copy, and more.
Upload content to websites, and create new landing pages.
Along with the entire Wordly team, you’ll be responsible for creating a team culture that is collaborative, client-focused, performance-driven and that upholds Wordly’s Values.

About You

An eye for detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional content for clients.
Able to manage your own workload, initiative, enthusiasm, and a great work ethic.
Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment while maintaining a high standard of work.
A creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills.
Experience in content marketing, SEO, and social media management.
A Canva pro, with exceptional graphic design skills, delivered with care, accuracy and precision.
A passion for storytelling and the ability to adapt content for different platforms.
Requirements

2-3 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally within an agency or small business environment
Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of marketing and communications, particularly copywriting, email marketing, social media, SEO and graphic design
Extensive experience in MS Office, the Adobe Suite, WordPress, MailChimp, Canva, and social media scheduling platforms
Previous experience in industrial sectors (manufacturing, building and construction, engineering) would be ideal, but not essential
Previous experience working with industry associations and not-for-profits would be ideal, but not essential
Clear thinking, high empathy and excellent people skills
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business or relevant disciplines
