Job description
Dashtoon is looking for a creative, strategic, detail-oriented Senior Content Writer to work on comic shows across multiple genres and publish those shows on our platform. This position will be responsible for performing research, testing and finally developing comic shows

What you will do:
• Execute comic book projects and ensure end-to-end management of comic book creation from scripting to production.
• Get involved in localisation, scripting and screenplay development for the comics
• Responsible for the performance of comic books on the platform.
• Read approximately 3–5 books weekly and provide feedback on their potential for comic adaptions. Be a part of the selection process for the content.

• Detail-oriented. You catch everything from typos to grammatical errors—nothing gets by you!
• Organised. You excel at juggling multiple projects at once.
• Avid reader. You’re familiar with fiction shows and content, whether it may be books, TV shows, or movies and well-versed in, authors, and successful commercial and literary fiction.
• Well-versed with the U.S. market and understanding of consumer requirements.
• You have exceptional taste and know how to identify what makes a comic great.
• Career-minded. Dashtoon is a growth-oriented company; this position is fast-paced and we are seeking a candidate, looking to learn and rise over time.

Minimum Requirements:
• At least 2+ years of full-time work experience as fiction content producer/editor
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface comfortably with people at all levels
• Great judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and care
• Fast and avid reader with a deep knowledge of contemporary commercial fiction
