We are seeking a dynamic Content Manager who will not only lead the development of our content strategy but also oversee its execution as part of a broader marketing plan. This individual will coordinate closely with our Partnerships Manager, Community Manager, and other team members to ensure our content reaches and resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Content Strategy Development:
• Create and manage a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Troopr’s goals and audience needs.
• Develop content pillars and a content calendar that addresses the core categories: work, housing, wellbeing, money, and community.
• Content Creation and Management:
• Oversee the creation, curation, and editing of high-quality content across multiple formats, including articles, blogs, videos, and infographics.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, freelance writers, and guest contributors to produce authoritative and engaging content.
• Ensure all content is SEO-optimised, on-brand, and meets editorial standards.
• Marketing and Distribution Coordination:
• Coordinate content promotion strategies with the Partnerships Manager and Community Manager to maximise reach through partner networks, social media, and email marketing.
• Manage and optimise content distribution channels, including the website, newsletter, and social media platforms.
• Analyse content performance and user engagement to inform future content strategies.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Work closely with the Community Manager and other team members to ensure a cohesive content and marketing strategy.
• Mentor and guide junior content creators, ensuring consistency in tone and quality.

What we're looking for:
• Proven experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role, ideally within the media, non-profit, or veteran services sector.
• Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO principles, and social media strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and project management tools.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Passionate about supporting the Armed Forces community and understanding their unique needs.
• Ideally you have experience in video content creation and visual storytelling.
• Ideally you have familiarity with the Armed Forces community or experience in a similar mission-driven organisation.
