1. Write articles including breaking news events for TrucksDekho

2. Attend events such as trucks and commercial vehicle launches for on ground reporting.

3. Share daily story ideas with the news editor/manager

4. Identify news worthy content and source exclusive information

5. Upload articles online using Content Management System and use appropriate in-links for cross-promotion of articles. 6. Tag/embed suitable videos to articles and product pages

7. Ideate/Coordinate with designers to create innovative, user-friendly thumbnails and graphics

8. Promote articles on social media (Instagram, Twitter and app notifications) through content tailor-made for these platforms

+. Monitor competition websites to ensure no articles have been missed out

10. Write content for website's product pages (model pages). Regularly update them for hygiene and SEO purposes

11. Write articles that cater to SEO and Product team needs

12. Creating a monthly edit calendar and ensuring strict implementation of the content goals

The ideal candidate should:

1) Be capable of independently handling/managing editorial responsibilities.

2) Knowledge/Understanding of trucks and commercial vehicles is a plus but is not a prerequisite.

3) Be proficient in spoken and written English. If you can speak Hindi well, that will be an advantage but not a necessity.

4) Constantly engage with OEMs/Vehicle Brands, attend product launches, seek editorial opportunities, and expand the brand among stakeholders.

5) Maintain a monthly edit calendar and ensure strict implementation of the content goals

6) Work with an external agency whenever required and assign, secure, and ensure timely delivery of the content and uploading the same on the website.

7) Have basic social media skills (if not, we will train you) and put out consistent user-engaging posts.

8) Have a panache to ideate, develop and create original content for promotional and marketing campaigns.

+) Work with multiple teams such as Design, SEO, Product, and Sales teams to achieve business goals

10) Have functional skills - Knowledge of SEO is a great bonus: Writing interesting content in the digital age is great only if it reaches the correct audience.

11) This is a remote position but those willing to shift to Pune to work with the editorial team will be given preference
