Content Writer

We are looking for a Staff / Content Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy.

If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities:
• Research industry-related topics (Technology IN general, combining online sources, interviews, and studies).
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content.
• Analyze and interpret findings by breaking down data.
• Write content with the reader's needs in mind.
• Ensure your pieces are accurate and objective.
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
• Proofread and edited blog posts before publication.
• Submit work to editors for input and approval.
• Coordinate with Design and Marketing teams to illustrate articles.
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
• Promote content on social media.
• Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
• Contribute to content idea generation for publication.
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone).
• Update blog articles as needed.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Staff Writer, Content Writer, Copywriter, /or similar role.
• Demonstrable portfolio of published articles.
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• A degree in Mass Communication will be an added advantage.
• Being a tech blogger will be considered an advantage.
• Writing experience for Consumer Technologies with a focus on Smartphones, Smart-Gadgets, and Tech Accessories.
