SPRAT - Society for Promoting Rationality is a national award-winning NGO, committed to promoting rationality and scientific temper, inter-faith harmony, and fairness. In our immediate surroundings, we also work to promote adult literacy and empowerment of under-served people. We are also building a 13kSY Campus to offer integrated, digitally-powered social services, and a PG academy for public administration and advocacy at Matar, 35 km from Ahmedabad.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Writing/editing E-zines on various topics related to everyday science, technology, rationality and current affairs.
Assisting in promoting rationality, scientific temper, advocacy, inter-faith harmony & non-formal education through writing, research and/or organizing workshops, seminars etc.
Helping develop scripts for videos and biopics on invited achievers.
Write/edit user manuals and promotional literature
REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Liberal, Left, Secular and Scientific Temper.
Education and Knowledge:

Graduate or Master's Degree in English Literature/Journalism or allied fields.
Experience:

Around 2 years in a professional setup.
Miscellaneous:

Require only organized, PC-savvy professionals passionate about knowledge.
Should possess extra-ordinary common sense.
Must know excellent MS Office, GK, English, Current Affairs.
Must be highly organized & task-oriented. Must possess experience in the allied fields.
Well versed in research and documentation methodologies.
Should have left-secular and scientific temperament.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Compensation Range: 2,00,000 – 3,50,000 P.A. depending upon length and quality of experience.
Subsidized accommodation and food may be considered

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
