Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or content strategy, preferably within software engineering, infrastructure, or Ad Tech
Experience writing technical infrastructure documentation, playbooks, or strategic technical portfolios
Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with technical documentation tools, including Confluence, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
Experience with live digital documentation formats for presentations and stakeholder engagement
Excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with SMEs, engineers, and leadership
Strong organization and project management skills to align documentation with business priorities and fast-moving development cycles
Candidates must submit writing samples showcasing relevant technical documentation work

Responsibilities
REQUIRED: In office 4 days a week downtown Denver, remote 1 day

This individual will be responsible for transforming raw technical data into an accessible, well-structured document that serves both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including analysts, technologists, and leadership teams
This role requires expertise in technical infrastructure documentation, the ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, compelling narratives, and experience in Ad Tech or related fields
The final product will function as a portfolio book, covering our current technology stack, strategic advantages, data conversion efforts, and future state vision to support organizational valuation and decision-making
Develop and structure comprehensive technical documentation that includes an introduction, technology phases, architecture overview, and a strategic playbook for both technology and product teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the CTO, engineers, and product leaders, to gather, organize, and validate technical information
Create a standardized format for documentation that is clear, professional, and adaptable to various presentation formats (e.g., live digital documents presentations)
Synthesize complex technical information (e.g., DSP, core functionality, versioning, strategic advantages) into a cohesive and compelling narrative
Incorporate new initiatives (e.g., data conversion efforts) into documentation, demonstrating their value and strategic importance
Ensure documentation remains up-to-date with regular check-ins and iterative improvements
Develop a presentation-ready document that can be shared in live digital formats
Maintain document consistency using a table of contents, chapters, and structured overviews
Ensure industry best practices are followed in technical writing, information structuring, and documentation tools
