Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and provide strategic insights to support our growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a passion for financial management in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing day-to-day operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
· Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making and organizational planning.
· Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
· Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls.
· Manage inventory accounting and cost analyses for manufacturing operations.
Qualifications:
· Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management.
· Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
