What will you do?

Reporting to the Director of Accounting Services (DOAS), you will work within a team of other Controllers and manage your own team of accounting supervisors and administrators, providing full cycle accounting services to multiple business owners. Our Controllers are the analyzers, interpreters, and disseminators of financial information to all our organizational stakeholders.

You will be:

Reviewing semi-monthly payable packages, royalty calculations, payroll, government, and other regulatory body remittances to ensure information is accurate and in accordance with GAAP.
Reviewing all accounting related internal compliance requirements and report deficiencies.
Preparing and/or reviewing monthly profitability reports, identifying, and correcting discrepancies/errors.
Reviewing monthly financial results, updating budgets and financial projections with franchise owner.
Compiling Corporate Fiscal Year End packages for franchise partners.
Conducting year-end financial review with franchise owner and preparing a forecast and budget for the current fiscal year.
Ensuring you have enough team resources to complete all work efficiently and effectively.
Providing franchisees with training as needed.
Working collaboratively with our team of Controllers and providing support where required.
Supporting your team with their personal and professional growth through coaching and facilitating opportunities.
Providing support for Accounting related processes/procedures.
Assisting and troubleshooting complex accounting transactions as needed by staff/owners.
Conducting regular employee reviews and communicating wage changes/bonus information.

Experience of working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central Accounting applications would be preferable.
Excellent computer skills, we are a paperless office so this is essential!
Someone who has a minimum of 3 years of solid management experience.
Preference will be given to applicants with a CPA Designation or equivalent tactical knowledge and work experience.
