Qualifications
Strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel—advanced formatting, formulas, pivot tables)
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication with professional etiquette
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is a strong plus
Responsibilities
Manage vendor accounts, including setup, database maintenance, reporting, and insurance requirements
Process accounts payable, including vouchers, disbursements, and payments
Maintain inventory records, process acquisitions, and review assets per depreciation schedules
Prepare journal entries, reconcile financial data, and generate reports/statements
Oversee financial record-keeping and multi-state corporate registrations/renewals
Handle corporate tax reporting, insurance applications, renewals, and requests
Provide cross-training support within the Accounting Department
Manage shared email accounts, categorize and prioritize communications
Solve routine issues independently and assist with special projects as assigned
