Job Description:
The Courier Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to various locations within a designated area. They will be required to follow a set route and schedule, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of items. The driver will also be responsible for collecting payments, obtaining signatures, and maintaining records of deliveries.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver packages and documents to designated locations within the assigned area
• Follow a set route and schedule to ensure timely delivery
• Collect payments from customers and issue receipts
• Obtain signatures from recipients to confirm delivery
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues
• Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer inquiries or concerns
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred
• Good knowledge of the local area and routes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying packages
