We are seeking an experienced and licensed Australian CPA to join our team on a per diem (as-needed) basis — with the potential to come on board as a Co-Founder.

This role offers the flexibility to work on your terms, providing expert tax advice, financial reporting, and accounting services to our clients across various industries. It's an ideal opportunity for a CPA looking for a part-time, remote-friendly arrangement.

Preference will be given to:

CPAs working independently or as sole practitioners.
Those planning to establish their own firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients to understand their accounting and compliance needs.
Provide comprehensive tax planning and preparation services in accordance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and other relevant frameworks.
Assist with BAS, GST, and PAYG reporting.
Provide expert guidance on accounting practices, audits, and financial management.
Deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to clients for effective tax and business planning.
Collaborate with internal team members to support the diverse financial needs of our clients.
Qualifications:

Current CPA Australia membership with a valid Public Practice Certificate (if offering services directly to clients).
Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting within the Australian regulatory environment.
Strong knowledge of Australian tax law, including GST, BAS, PAYG, income tax, and corporate compliance.
Proficiency in Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships or projects efficiently.
