Job Description:

Position Overview:

- This GCP Service Sales Lead role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in cloud services, particularly in Google Cloud technologies. The role demands a strategic thinker who can align client needs with GCP offerings and drive business growth across multiple sectors. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of cloud technology, exceptional sales leadership, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Leadership: Lead the sales efforts for GCP services, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets, growth objectives, and customer acquisition goals.

- Partnership building: Build partnership with Google for data and analytics services and then manage and maintain the same on an ongoing basis.

- Account Management: Build, manage, and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and how GCP can solve their challenges.

- Solution Selling: Collaborate with customers to identify their business requirements and design solutions using Google Cloud services like GCP Compute Engine, BigQuery, Kubernetes, AI/ML tools, and others.

- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify new business opportunities, expand relationships with existing clients, and increase customer retention.

- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (technical architects, consulting, marketing) to craft and deliver proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that align with customer goals.

- Market Insight: Keep up-to-date with cloud industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements to ensure GCP services remain relevant and competitive in the market.

- Sales Forecasting: Provide regular sales forecasts, updates on account status, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and discussions with clients to finalize deals, ensuring win-win agreements that meet both customer and business needs.

- Customer Success: Ensure clients realize the full value of GCP services by working closely with delivery teams, providing ongoing support, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An

MBA is a plus.

Experience:

- 15+ years of experience in sales, preferably in cloud services, enterprise solutions, or technology sales.

- Prior experience selling Google Cloud services (Compute, BigQuery, Kubernetes, AI/ML, etc.) or related cloud technologies is highly preferred.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of Google Cloud products and services.

- Proficiency in cloud computing, enterprise software, and digital transformation solutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to lead complex sales processes, manage multiple priorities, and work with diverse teams.

- Strong business acumen with problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.

- Certifications (Optional):Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud

- Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or other relevant Google Cloud certifications.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong understanding of Google Cloud products and services. Proficiency in cloud computing, enterprise software, and digital transformation solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to lead complex sales processes, manage multiple priorities, and work with diverse teams. Strong business acumen with problem-solving skills and customer-centric mindset.
